6D5N Bangkok Trip w/ friends of a decade (PART TWO)

DAY THREE (11/03/16)
Breakfast at the famous Sabx2 Wanton mee, just 5 minutes walk from our hotel. They have the "No Branch In Singapore" sign everywhere the store LOL! The branch in SG is fake one okay!
Cost: 300 baht (S$12.00)
Cost: 100 baht (S$4.00)
After brunch, we hired a private van that fetched us all to True Love Cafe. He then waited for us to spend our time worth and then, drove us to Victory Monument for the "famous" boat noodles.
Cost for the van: 1000 baht (S$40 - $5.00/ pax)
True Love Cafe have changed their admission charges, previously you would need choose either a main course + dessert or only main course or only desserts per pax. But now, you have to pay 350 baht (S$14.00) for admission fee which includes a dessert and drink.
"Wah, got pretty ladies wanna take picture with me"
In heaven.
*WINK*
*AHHHH?*
Why so cutezxzc?!
*MY FACEEEEE*
Beauty.
Where I belong. Hahaha
Waiting for the pups finale heh!
"BEST OF BOAT NOOLES"
Claimed to be the best, but sadly it isn't. So disappointed!
At around 4pm, we took separate cabs down to Asiatique! About 30 minutes ride as the cab driver drove a long route :<
He won't be able to save you!
After roaming around, we had our dinner at 'Rocking Doll' located at Warehouse 6.
My favourite!
Total cost: 60 baht (S$2.40)
Ice cream mochi! So good!
Quite a lot unique flavours to select from.
Total cost: 98 baht (S$3.90)
Cost: 150 baht (S$6.00)
From left to right: Passionfruit, Croccantino Al Rum and Mint-Chock-chips.
Cabbed back to hotel and headed down for more street foods!
DAY THREE DINNER √
Sadly, I don't know what happened to this picture and its the only one hahaha!
*Maybe its in Dawn's camera, since mine was flat after this*
DAY FOUR (12/03/16)
Onward to conquering Chatuchak market/ JJ market!
All the swollen faces!
Mine and Leon's favourite food in Chatuchak. Missing it right now! :(
This stall's fried fish cakes are the BOMB! Hot and spicyyy = SHIOK! Their special chilli sauce is really good. Still the best fried fish cakes we have eaten in our lives haha
It was scorching hot... OMG~
Facing wrong direction for a group photo hahaaha
Pretty good toasts! Really liked the toasts w/ condensed milk and Leon preferred the garlic toast.
Ordered: Condensed milk, Pizza sauce and Garlic toast.
Total cost: 50 baht (S$2.00)
Famous Thai Milk Tea. Yummmerz! But its a lil too sweet.
Cost: 40 baht (S$1.60)
Famous Thai coconut ice cream...
Verdict: It does not worth the hype!
But oh well, different people got different taste buds.
The one that we had previously at some random push cart tasted so much better and more worthy than this.
Cost: 40 baht (S$1.60) w/ 2 selected toppings
Famous milk tea and "coconut ice cream" are just beside each other.
Since my friends could not stand the heat anymore, we headed down to Union Mall! From Chatuchak Park MRT take down to Phahon Yothin MRT and its just one stop away.
Back for the best boat noodles that Leon and I had in BKK! They do not have any English signboard so just look for this sign which is located at the highest level.
Cost: 12 baht per bowl (S$0.48)
Choose from: Thicken soup w/ beef, Thicken soup w/ pork, Dry noodles w/o soup, Brewed bean curd and Tom Yum Soup.
We started ordering 5 bowls each per person and added on after that.
We finished a total number of ___bowls! (scroll down for answer hahaha)
57 BOWLS
Total cost: 977 baht (S$39.10)
Our initial plan was to go back hotel (rest/ massage/eat) and then head to Cloud 47 roof top bar but after our leg massage (located at B1 of The 93 Hotel), we got so lazy and tired because the massage was so so good that we even tipped them! Even though it was just an hour of leg massage, but the masseurs gave us a full body massage instead haha!
So after our massage, we cancelled out Cloud 47 and headed out to dabao some street foods back and rest for the night.
Our daily dose of meds x 2 heheh
DAY FOUR DINNER √
Ended our night with sparking grape juices, recommended by Juit Ying ♥
