Afternoon Tea at ANTI:DOTE Fairmont Singapore

First afternoon/high tea experience together with Leon is at Anti:dote situated at Fairmont Singapore. Highly anticipated afternoon tea venue as its all over Instagram posted by Sg bloggers/ friends, always drooling whenever I see it. Likewise, I can't wait to try the afternoon tea at Fullerton Bay hotel - The Clifford Pier too! Looks so good :P
Okay, back to topic. I'd made a reservation 3 days prior to our visit on a Wednesday, but for weekends I think its best to make 2-3 weeks prior to your visit. What made me so attracted to Anti:dote, its the way how desserts are presented in a white jewellery drawer chest. Such a unique way of presentation and of course, the yummy-looking desserts!
Before serving the drawer chest, you'll get to choose either Anti:dote tea set (starter: black truffle scrambled eggs) or Oriental tea set (starter: fried & steamed HK dim sums), and each set comes with a coffee or a selection of TWG teas.
Cost: S$60++ per pax (including GST and service charge)
Leon had French Earl Grey and I had Holiday in Paris by TWG.
Leon's starter - Scrambled eggs with uni, caviar and ikura roe.
My starter - Siew mai, Carrot cake and Fried tofu skin with shrimp.
Really liked the fried tofu skin with shrimp and I recommend the Oriental set haha! Get to eat more dishes too.
Sippin' a cuppa tea while waiting for the chest of surprises to come!
Oh my goshhh! Love, love, love it!
Since there were 2 of us, all item comes in pairs.
Top tier: Sweet desserts
1st drawer: Savoury petite sandwiches and pastries
2nd drawer: Chia seed scones and Cheese scones (Sadly, I've forgotten to open up the white cloth nor take pictures of it. The firsts to be in our tummies haha)
3rd drawer: Lemon curd, Devonshire clotted cream and home-made Raspberry jam.
Delicate lil pastries and cakes! How cute ♡
We started nom-ing the savoury scones and sandwiches then the sweets pastries. Chia seeds and Cheese scones were the first to be gone, paired with Lemon curd, Devonshire clotted cream or home-made Raspberry jam. Both of us really liked the cheese scones. Next up, the petite sandwiches and pastries, I liked the Boston lobster roll and Iberico ham quiche with black truffle (1st and 4th from the left). Lastly, the desserts and I loved everything except strawberry coated with chocolate and black sesame macarons, not that it isn't nice but I am not a fan of berries and the macaron' shells were very crumbly and had to stuff all into our mouth, disappointed as they are not chewy and "tough" enough.
In all, Leon and I really enjoyed the afternoon tea experience at Anti:dote Lounge, lovely ambiance and tea delights, also the service staffs are polite and friendly. Desserts and pastries were up to standard and delicately made. Although the afternoon tea is pretty expensive but it is worth every penny.

Enjoy their afternoon tea experience from Mon to Thurs - 3pm to 5pm and Friday, Saturday, Sunday and PH - 12pm to 2pm (first seating) and 3pm to 5pm (second seating).
