Since Leon and I have not been to Bintan before; and the deal that we saw is pretty affordable, we decided to venture over! Booked the tickets on the day that I chanced upon the deal and left within 4 days!
It includes 2-Way Ferry Tickets, 2-Way Land Transfer, Welcome Drink, Buffet Breakfast, 1 x Set Lunch, 30 mins Kayaking, 30 mins Cycling and Karaoke.
Total cost: $184 per pax (including an extension of one night stay w/ breakfast)

Since we reached pretty early at about 11am; do take note that Bintan's timing is an hour later than Singapore's, and check-in time is at 3pm. We then went to redeem our free set lunch that was included in the deal, at Sun Moon Kelong Restaurant, just 5 minutes walk from the resort.
The greenish hut is where Sun Moon Kelong restaurant is!
Interior of Sun Moon Kelong restaurant. We were the only ones having lunch at 11am hahaha!

Not sure what's the name of this soup but its really fragrant and contains lot of ingredients!
Was kind of doubtful about their set lunch as from what I read on other blogs, they were pretty bad. Thankfully, I don't think its that terrible.
Both of us enjoyed the simple lunch and their sambal chilli are to die for!
I personally think that the chilli was the saviour of the whole set lunch.
Massage w/ a beautiful view!
Well, if you're not afraid of passerby looking at you while having a massage hehe.
At about 1230pm, we went to check whether is our room ready or not but sadly, it wasn't so, we went to 'Asiana Beach Bistro' which was located 2 minutes away from the reception counter, to claim our welcome drink. Tasted of honeydew and it was yummmeeehhh!
The view from our seats! Pool and sea for the resort guests.
Spotted a playground!
And a fitness corner!
After roaming and taking pictures about the resort, we went back to the reception counter in hopes for our already ready room but~ we were disappointed once more :( Headed back to Asiana Bistro for some more noms!
Avocado Milkshake
IDR 37000
This milkshake's da bombbb diggity! Its so good that we had it for 3 days straight.
Well, technically only 2 days for me and 3 for the boy as I had bad sore throat on the last day :<
Not wishing for it to worsen.
Doing some crossword puzzles while enjoying the cool sea breeze, waiting for time to pass.
AND THEN... THE TIME HAS COME~ For us to check in! :D
The first digit indicated which building you're staying at. E.g. 2 = Mermaid building, 3 = Seahorse building. And ours is 7 which means Sea Master building.
The second digit means the level. Highest is 3.
The last two digits simply means, the room number.
The staffs are really helpful! So feel free to approach them if you feel lost :)
One of the staff actually approached us and showed us the way.
Leon said that the toilet had a pungent odour when he opened it, so we just left the toilet door open and it was okay after that.
What's behind that dooooooor?
A balcony with an awesome view! SOOOOO HARPIIIIII!
Overlooking the pool from Asiana bistro and beach!
Rested for roughly an hour before heading out again. Visited the 'convenient cum gift shop'. They sell quite a number of simple snacks and drinks alike our 'mama shop'.
Since its still early for dinner, we each bought an ice-cream and slacked at a hut overlooking the horizon of the sea, feelin' da breeze. Such a nice calming feeling. Love it!

The boy and Mr Sea snail <3
The resort provides free shuttle service to and fro to their sister's resort; Cabana Beach Resort, so we went down to the lobby at 11am and waited for their bus. Do get the shuttle service timetable at the Guest relation desk as you'll need to reserve 30 minutes before. Reached within 10 minutes-ish.
Beautiful panorama by Leon :)
Hahahahaha feeling so fabulous pointing at nothingness.
Wanna know how many of this pose have I did in Bintan? :P
Me and the boy enjoying the breeze again because really, there is nothing much to do.
Had to wait for another 2 hours to pass before the coach brings us back to Agro.
Went to their restaurant to chill, ordered some drinks and continued watching the Naruto movie.
We actually watched it halfway through before bed time the night before. Haha
Banana milkshake and Passionfruit soda
A private driver drove us and an Indonesian couple back to Agro beach resort at 1.30pm. Went back to our room to put our stuffs down before going for the free 30 mins kayak ride. There are lockers provided at the water sports area just in case you wanna bring some items along.
Our first kayaking experience was fascinating for the first 15 - 20 mins but turned downright depressing and scary thereafter.. our kayak actually was damaged underneath and water was seeping into the kayak. We couldn't float the kayak due to the puncture so we dragged it to the beach and parked it there. Had a 200m walk back to the water sports area and told them that we abandoned the kayak there due to the leak. Returned only the paddles.
Went for a short swim at the pool after the returning of paddles. Decided to head back to the room when the sun started to get a tad hot.
Then, we had ourselves cleaned up and we headed down to Asiana bistro again for some foooodie.
Our favourite Avocado milkshake as usual!
Pineapple fried rice to share!
IDR 40000
Listened to some music on Spotify before heading back to our room. Oh did I mention they have WiFi at almost everywhere under a roof? If there's a building, theres WiFi. Hahah!
Took a short rest before we went for dinner at the same ol' Sun Moon kelong restaurant, at 7pm.
As usual~
Ordered watermelon juice again to soothe my throat :(
Suuuuuushing and refreshing!
Chap chai (or assorted vegetables as we call it)
IDR 46000
Hot plate TOFUUU~
IDR 78000
Regretted ordering this because the ingredients were almost same as chap chai with just an additional omelette at the bottom.
Salted egg crabbbb~ Roughly 500g?
IDR 240000
Garlic prawns~
IDR 106000
Leon peeled the flesh from the crabs and prawn and gave it to me so I didn't had to dirty my hands! <3
Ayam rempah indonesian soup~
IDR 48000
Coconut~
IDR 30000
Additional rice = IDR 10000
Total damages in our wallet = IDR 591000 (S$ 60.00)
Ice creams to end of our last night in Bintan :)
Fabulous~
DAY THREE
Had a rough night sleeping as my throat got worse and kept waking up every 2-3 hours to gulp down water :( During my last waking, I got up and opened the curtains to see if its still dark but then...
I SAW THE PERFECTLY COOKED EGG YOLK! IT WAS SOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL!
Straight away ran and grabbed my camera and shooted out to the balcony to take some shots hahahaha
Went back to bed and checked the timing, it was at around 6.15am where I saw Mr Egg Yolk.
We woke up slightly earlier this time as to not miss the good food but due to my throat, I also could not eat much :(

Koko crunch that I took but only ate a few because Leon told me to STOPPP!
T.T
Nasi Lemak
Kueh Lapis and a red bean (bread?)
Walked down to the beach for the last time to catch sightings for some creatures~
(The tides tends to get very very low in the early daylight so if you wanna go venture on the seabed, first light is the best timing to go!)
Poor Leon snapped his slippers as the seabed ate it. :P
Luckily, it was the resort's slippers. (It was free by the way)

Mr. Crabbie
CONE SHELLLLLSSSSSS
Find Mr Crabbie!
Went back to do a final packing of our stuffs and headed down to Asiana Bistro for the last time to drink the legendary Avocado milkshake :)
A private driver then drove us to BBT and then back to Singapore!
So.... the total amount of 'WINGS' poses that I did are:
I just felt so free like a bird, so soothing and calming.
HAHAHAHA
---------------------------------------------------
All in all, Leon and I really did enjoy our stay at Bintan :) First time in Bintan and we had created so many beautiful memories. Stuffing food down our throat, trying out authentic Indonesian food, strolling down the beach with Leon, talking nonsensical stuffs and playing the water sport, like kayak-ing, Food served at Sun Moon Kelong restaurant were affordable and nice! The servers were so shock that both of us ordered so much and managed to clear them hahaha
The staffs at Agro beach resort are really nice and helpful, they speak good english thus making communicating somewhat easier. Quite a handful of facilities they've got in this resort such as KTV, Oceanic Spa services, Massaging services, Cycling, Sea sports, Fishing (Indoor or boat), Meeting room, City Tours, Car rental services, etc. Also, table tennis, billiard table, mahjong set + table, BBQ grill + charcoal were available but almost all are chargeable.
Wi-Fi are only available at the Lobby, Asiana bistro, Sun Moon kelong restaurant and meeting rooms (as mention anything that has a roof on it haha). The room is squeaky clean, expect the weird odour from the toilet but it was gone within minutes and bed was really comfy. The air conditioning was kind of weak though but still can live with it! The timing for the shuttle bus/ private car services are always on time, so you do not have to worry.
However, there is one minus point to this resort;
BLACKOUTS!
For our first night while we were sleeping, the boy suddenly jerked me awake saying that there's no electricity in the room and I got so terrified! No sounds and light from anywhere~ luckily got phone uh. Thinking back also feel quite scary hahaha
Leon called the front desk to ask what is going on and they said it will be on in another 5 minutes. So we went to the balcony to chill~ and then the lights were back! Just as we were falling back to sleep again.
A 2nd blackout occurred 30 minutes later but it switched back on within a minute.
For our second day, while we were resting before heading out for our dinner, the 3rd blackout happened but was also back within a minute. Then when we were sleeping for our second night, a 4th blackout but back within 5 minutes.
The frequency for blackouts are pretty high I guess? Within the 3D2N of our stay.
The sister resort; Cabana Beach Resort, is more of a very very relaxing holiday as there is nothing much to do there. Other than kayaking, there's no more water sports to do. However, the sea is much clearer than Agro beach and thus, more beautiful pictures can be taken. We spent 30 minutes at there and were already kind of bored.
Thanks for reading!
K, Bye.
