Was planning to head back to Chatuchak market again but we got tired and sian of becoming a sardine there, so we went to try the legendary wanton noodle that everyone is raving about. It was about 10-15 minutes walk from our hotel. Won't even bothered to give you the directions, use the map app in your phone and type in the address.
SabX2 Wanton Noodle
Address: Soi 19 Petchburi Road,
Pratunam, Bangkok.
Verdict: I don't understand what's the hype about this wanton noodles. Maybe their noodles are more Q than sg or because they added a tablespoon FULL of sugar into the bowl of noodles? The char siew and wanton were not delicious either.
Verdict: This plate of braised pork rice with gravy is the bomb! So much better than the wanton noodles. Would definitely go back and eat this plate of braised pork rice, but not the wanton noodles.
We travelled to Union mall by taking a Tuktuk from our hotel for 70 baht or you can get there by taking the BTS to Phahon Yothin.
@ICE MANIA. Finally got to try the ice cream rolls at Union mall, level 3.
Day Five
Back to Platinum Fashion mall in the morning to do more shopping. That's why BKK is a land of smiles for the ladies :P Walked to Siam area to have our lunch at Petite Audrey.
Tom yum gong pizza! Interesting flavour and taste really good too.
Thai milk tea mille-crepe. Delicious! Worth a try!
Some street foods just outside Central World before heading to Asiatique.
Brown-sugar drink that cost 40 baht. The boy brought home the bamboo as a souvenir haha
How to get to Asiatique, The Riverfront: Take BTS down to Saphan Taksin, follow the signs from the station to the free shuttle boat. Its just 5 minutes walk down to the pier! The duration of the boat ride is roughly 15 minutes? Prepare your camera and take many beautiful shots of the scenery :)
I would recommend you to head down there early in the evening as you're able to take pictures of the sunset, less people and to bargain price with the stalls owner because most probably you might be their first customer.
OOOOOOOO~ This is so good! Crispy, sweet and full of shredded coconut!
Went to a random Japanese restaurant.
@Kacha kacha Teppanyaki & Yakitori
Day SixFor those of you who loves husky and are not able to own one... just like me :( Please visit True Love café @ Neverland Siberians! You will not regret going there. I was so so happy when I realised such café is existed in BKK that I could have cried! It is best to make a reservation as only limited amount of people are able to interact with the huskies. Priority goes to the customers who made a reservation. Contact them at 090-101-9669 or 085-908-2777.

We took the BTS down to Ari then took a tuktuk ride into the café. The admission fee is included in the price set of either a main course + dessert or only main course or only desserts per pax, the price stated is inclusive of the sanitary charges such as shoe covers. Their food is actually pretty good, especially the ice cream desserts and it is affordable. Also, tuktuk service is available upon request to the owners, will drive you to the nearest BTS station which is Ari and it cost 40 baht.
Reading the instructions manual.
The boy enjoying his pork ribs! Yummy!
These are the tokens for desserts. Show it to the staffs upon ordering.
So much varieties to choose from! I had a hard time deciding... wanted to use the boy's token to get one more for myself hehe
Mocha ice cream cake
Cookies and cream ice cream cake
Panda! He's the cutest!! Gotta listen to his "bark" when you're there :P
Fushigi! The lone wolf. So beautiful, isn't it?
Glad to see the boy interacting well with the huskies. Thought that he might be afraid of them.
Panda who loves belly rub hehehe

Love this picture the most!
Wanted to take selfie together but... he kept on looking away :(
So we took a nice selfie of ourselves hehe
Momo! The protector of the huskies haha
The boy renamed her as Pretzel. Annoying.
I did not sit on him! Was actually squatting down to take a picture but he suddenly put his head under my leg! Hahaha so cute!
Its important to sanitize your hands before and after interacting with the huskies, shoe covers have to be worn all the time while you're inside the area. The huskies are freaking adorable, so nice to touch, friendly, clean and well-trained.Up till now, I am still having huskies withdrawal symptoms :(
After that, we headed down to Terminal 21 since its the same BTS line, took from Ari to Sukhumvit and the mall is just outside the station. Its a must to visit the Taokaenoi Land when you're there! The boy lugged 3 bags full of seaweeds home... my goodness!
Located at the basement!
Got my all time favourite crepe there :P
Terrible mango mille-crepe.
For our last dinner at BKK, we took a cab down to Chinatown for some seafood at T&K seafood restaurant. Best to go early in the evening as there is a lesser crowd and food is served pretty fast.
All done! :D
Tuktuk-ed back to out hotel. Freshened up and went to Platinum fashion mall for some last minute shopping. Sadly, by 9pm, 98% of the shops were closed :( But, we bought quite a few good quality bags at the street vendors hehe
Day Seven
Woke up quite early and headed straight to Platinum fashion mall :P The aim was to spend most of my thai baht! Went back to our hotel and had brunch at the hotel's café. Why did we get to try their food on the last day?! Regreted.
Delicious clear tom yum soup!
Took the Airport rail link back to the airport. Hassle-free, CHEAP and fast! Good to stay near the rail link :P
Here are some additional pictures that we took/ bought in BKK:
We basically had mangoes for the 5 out of 7 days.
SHIOK.
Some points to take note while you're in BKK:
- Always ask the taxi driver if the meter is on. Best to travel with the meter on as its cheaper than the price quoted by the driver.
- Especially for the ladies, bring a wet anti-bacterial wipes with you! Always clean the toilet seats or even your hands and body. You can get it from watsons as they always have 1 for 1 promo going on.
- When taking tuktuk, always let your guy partner hop in first. It is safer for the girls to get down of the ride first.
- Always keep yourself hydrated and stay away from street foods that are not cooked on the spot.
- Don't be afraid to haggle prices. Always smile and they will be okay with it. Well, it works most of the time :P
- Bring travel medications (especially diarrhoea meds) for stand-by.
- Plan your itinerary earlier so that you will not have any cock up, because even if the day ended earlier, you can still plan where to go. That's why...
- its always best to stay around Pratunam area as most of the major shopping malls are of walking distance, also the street vendors are always open till midnight!
Thanks for reading!
K, Bye.
