Met up with Ping for brunch at 'Knuckles Bistro' situated at Kovan, about 7 minutes walk from MRT and its just beside the famous Thai food; Nakhon kitchen. Was kind of surprised to see no people dining there on a weekend but oh well~ the food was pretty good, portions were big and very very affordable. No GST and Service charge either!
Ham & Mushroom pasta - SGD 8
Taste wise its slightly above average. Pasta is al dente and the sauce is creamy that does not make you feel sick of it.
Pork knuckles for just SGD 10!
Huge portion of knuckle, fries and sauerkraut. The knuckle is tender with crispy crust, a lovely match with their sauerkraut.

Just a few steps away from Knuckles bistro. Have been wanting to visit this cafe since forever! Heard a lot of good reviews on it and now I finally get to try it hehe
Rocky Street - SGD 8
Consists of Chocolate ice cream, Vanilla ice cream, Marshmallow, Sugar nuts, Biscuits, Mini brownies, Whipped cream and Chocolate sauce.
Love the melted marshmallow and brownies!
Gula Melaka waffle w/ Vanilla ice cream - SGD 8.90
Mad love their waffle + Gula melaka sauce! Best combi!
The waffle is crispy and fluffy in the inside. Its just so good :P Definitely gonna come back for it!
With comparison to Sunday folk's waffle, I would say Hatter street's waffle is the best.
After the meetup with Ping, I headed towards Habourfront MRT to meet Dawn and Juitying to buy some snacks for 2D1N staycation at Festive Hotel with my Pri school friends and our partners.Yay!
Thanks to Sengyang's mom for booking the room; Deluxe Family King, and not needing us to pay for it :D
