Fourth Anniversary + Staycation

The boy suprised me with a 3D2N staycation at Wanderlust hotel for our 4th anni :) Thanks to WT! We had a hard time finding the hotel during the day as the sign board is up on to the building itself and their lobby is merge together with a restaurant called Cocotte, so just keep a look out for the restaurant's name.

What left me in awe was the decoration of both rooms! WOW! Although they messed up and got us the wrong room (MONO room -  mixture of Origami and Pop-Art) , but still, the room and deco were so awesome! Leon secretly prepared this idea and thanks to the wanderlust team for making it come true :D So touched! After wow-ing for 15 minutes, then realised that this was not the room that he booked so we called up WT and she helped us to amend. Minutes later, the staff came up and brought us to the correct room (MONO Deluxe -  the only Pop-Art room with a glass-encased bathtub).

Location of the hotel is great as its in between Little India and Bugis, about 10- 15minutes from either MRT station, frontdesk staffs are helpful and great, breakfast is pretty good, cleaniness of room - spotless and super comfy bed. Would definitely go back again with a different themed room :D

Photos were taken by Samsung S3. Forgotten to bring my camera :(

Got dressed up for second day's evening, as we're going to dine at The Line, located at Shangri-la Hotel. One word: SHIOK!
The service, food varieties, ambience, taste and quality of the food are top-notch.

My favourite part of the place.

Damn deco, makes me wanna colour it :x

Staycation @ Equarius Hotel

Booked a 2D1N staycation for Leon to relax before jetting off to Australia for 3 weeks at Equarius hotel @RWS in deluxe room. Luckily enough, upon check-in, the front desk gave us a free upgrade to deluxe room with garden (130 sqm). Oh my... it is so beautiful! Room was clean, bed was super duper ultra comfy and the ambience was perfect! I just want to stay there forever! Definitely gonna go back if I have the chance to :P

Two vanity areas, bathtub, separate shower and toilet. There's also a build-in television ;)

View from our garden

Decided to take the cable car as it has been years since we sit. Furthermore, its DC theme :P

Dine @ Spuds and Aprons. Awesome scenery, ambience and food.

2D1N stay at Legoland Malaysia

Finally got to visit Legoland! Booked a 2D1N stay through their website instead of deal or groupon deals as there were promotion prices on tickets to waterpark and themepark, free buffet breakfast for 2 and there 3 types of room theme for you to choose; Adventure, Pirate and Kingdom, and of course, we went for the Pirate :P We bought the bundle set for only $190 per pax. Bought 2 ways coach tickets through WTS Travel for approx. $20 per pax, pick-up point at Singapore flyer and drop-off point at Legoland.
The staffs were very polite and efficient, room was AWESOME... I was so so happy and excited! Felt like a kid again. After treasure hunting and taking pictures of every decorations, we headed to the water park! *Apply lots and lots of sunblock, if not you'll definitely regret* Did not take any pictures but the water park was pretty average, more for the kids to enjoy. We left the place and headed back to our room within 3 hours?

Don't feel lost when you did not see the hotel lobby! Just walk pass the legomen, take the lift to level 2 and you'll be able to see it!
It was scorching hot! Could not even open our eyes.
The hotel lobby. HOW COOL IS THAT?
Those with itchy fingers, this is your station.
At the reception area.Take a closer look at the bicycle wheels.
Lift area
Walking towards our room!
Bunk bed for the kids!
There's even television for them!
Super comfy beds.
View from our room.
Our treasure hunt gifts.
Our dinner! Called for in-room dining because I overslept and the restaurants were closed :( The food tasted pretty good though.
Woke up at 9am for the breakfast buffet at Bricks Family Restaurant. The best breakfast buffet I had eaten so far! The buffet spread was amazing and delicious.
Live stations:Pancakes and omelettes!
Packed our bags and left it with the hotel staffs, then off to the theme park! Sigh... why did I forget to apply sun block?!
Inside the lifts! There's real disco lights and songs playing.
The happiest and cutest prisoner in the wholewide world <3
The food were average.
Sweating like mad! The sun was too HOT! Got sunburnt on my shoulder blades.
Even their toilets at the hotel lobby were so cute!
Left the place to catch our coach back to Singapore at 6pm.
Overall, I think that you should experience the stay at LEGOLAND at least once! Even though its mostly for kids but who cares?! Those with kids, the more you should go and have a short staycation because the room is so worth it. Really love the decorations and atmosphere of the hotel and their rooms. Remember to apply sun block everytime you step out of the hotel, drink LOTS of water and bring a cap/ sunglasses or you'll be blinded by the sun.
